Game of Thrones S06E10 Discussion Thread: Cersei Didn't Start the Fire **NO Spoilers

Styles make fights.

Jon was fighting in too tight a space for his style, and in actual fights to the death he was pretty green.

That was a long time ago, pretty sure Jon would make a better fight of it now.
jon would make short work of one karl tanner these days

that was all in the fookin legends element...close quarters and he still got besmirched

The point is, Dany, since Vicerys died, has been presented as the de-facto winner in Westeros and everyone has been kissing her ass from Varys to Tyrion to Selmy and the ones who didn't, have died.

She wants dragons? She gets them. Wants an army? Gets it. An armada, she gets it. Whatever she doesn't have, she can just threaten/burn people to get it.

How can people like her is beyond me. The only character development she had was in season 1 / AGoT. As soon as the eggs hatched she became aggressively arrogant and simplistic in her world view and she's still the same ever since. Probably worse.

Renly's claim to the throne was awful, but Dany's even worse. At least he reasoned that he was very well liked, and he thought he was a decent human being. Dany's father was the worst King in Westeros and not a single reasonable human being would disagree with that he had to be killed. Hence, the rebellion and a new king. Dany's claim is based upon the delusion that her father was unjustly killed.

Taking into consideration the fact that her entire reason for her conquests is this silly claim, being brainwashed into her by her brother among others, she's nothing more that a delusional, philosophically bankrupt brat.

She wouldn't win a single argument without the whole ''i'm the mother of dragons, i have three of them so agree with me or burn'' thing she has going.

Since her ancestors built both King's Landing and the Iron Throne, I'd say she has a fucking great claim. The only one with possibly a better claim is Jon Snow. #TeamTargaryen #MasterRace

That sissy-boy Rhaeger my be GOAT Jon Snow's sperm donor, but he's all Stark, straight wolf of the North.

During the Wars of the Roses (which GOT was based on), there is no single law or rule that trumps all claims to the throne. There could be dozens of people / families who have a blood claim to the thrown, but in addition to the blood claim they would also need some combination of the will of the people, political
power, or military power. It's not as simple as saying only "A" or "B" is the rightful successor.
In GoT it is that simple.

If you can take the throne and hold it you are the rightful King as will be your heirs and line.

If LitttleFinger can destroy all opposition and take that throne and rule for generations, he and his heirs will be rightful.

we already have a mad queen, her name is Cersei
Speaking of which was Cersei always mad?

Robert, her kids, Jamie, her dad, Tyrion all just pawns in her game towards power?

I am not really asking if she had a LIttleFinger like ambition but more if her underlying psychology was that ultimately anyone who got in her way would be sacrificed if she saw them as a threat.

A Lord is a male member of a noble house, a Ser is a knight which from what I gather is something bestowed on you for being a dope fighter.
Knights are related to the faith of the Seven, hence why there are no/few knights in the North

I think it would be Ironic if an absolute savage just killed him , for a Lloyd his scheming and manipulating the thing that is his downfall is someone like Tormund or the Hound just putting a sword in his gut or splitting his skull in two.

So which of the remaining main characters will we see violently die by the end ?

Cersei definitely, at least one of Jon / Dany, maybe Arya, for some reason I doubt Sansa but possibly.

?

I think Cersei and Arya. Arya will get what's coming for her from the faceless men.
