Quite an amazing accomplishment for someone who has been around for 12 years and constantly facing top 10 opponents

Same cannot be said for legends like Anderson Silva, Dan Henderson, Shogun Rua, Fedor, Rampage,
 
He's one consistent dude, just like Gegard.
 
He did lose back to back though with Rashad / Hamill.
 
maybe he never lost 2 in a row, but from 2012 to 2015 he was .500

He is a consistent fighter and seems to make adjustments whenever he loses.

Lol all the guys you just named have actually had title DEFENSES... Can't say the same for Bisping and his inconsistent gatekeeper career...

Fedor didn't lose a fight for 10 years. Anderson didn't lose a one for six, most of which for the championship. Totally the same.
 
The only consistent thing about bisbing is that he gets his shit pushed in by top ten fighters. He's 2 and 8 against the top ten.

This "accomplishment" is worth less than nothing because of how Bisbing is the most protected fighter in fight sport history. He always got 3 to 4 fighters ranked below #15 and then got a top ten who destroyed him. Then he'd get 2 or 3 fighters ranked below #20, then another top ten who destroyed him ect. No one in any fight sport has ever gotten such a pathetic, protective schedule. If he wasn't British he would have been cut over 7 years ago, period.

I do respect his late career resurgence, finally decided to stop point fighting and throw some power. I'm definitely looking forward to his next couple fights even though I have to assume he'll get completely embarrassed. Imagine if he hadn't been a point fighter his whole career and how much better it could have been!

I like the Serra comparison, although Matt definitely deserves more respect than Bisbing

LOL! "Point fighter." I'm not even a fan of the guy, but your awful comments just deserve derisive laughter for how judgemental and stupid they are.
 
Glad he won the title just so people can appreciate him more. Very good career he's made for himself in the UFC.
