Fury Pro Grappling 6

Bjj expert panel what say you?

Thoughts on Caceres ; Clay ?

Previous matches available on ufc fight pass.

Is Pat good enough to win on position alone? Think Alex has made improvements to his sub defense.

Clay could top control Chase who is a leg chaser mostly.

Interesting card.
I like Mallot and pyfer right now

interesting lines and matchups. I’ll have to think on these some more

kind of want to play Robertson but rose is slick off her back

guida could absolutely control chase but chase has a tricky guard as well with good dexterity

My thoughts:
I like Clay Guida as an underdog. Better wrassler and physically stronger.
I'm also eyeing Galanti as an underdog. I don't know much about about him but it's a MW vs a WW and don't rate Rowe's grappling that high.
Anders performance was abysmal last time but I'm not familiar with Pyfer's grappling so I'll pass
Pat should dominate Alex caceres but wouldn't touch those odds.
OSP tempting as I wouldn't bet the smaller Petroski at-400. OSP huge.
I also like Gillian Robertson. I hope odds get better. Robertson should be the more physical grappler.
I may also put a small bet on Giles as a dog. He should be bigger.

I'm a huge grappling fan and usually bet on actual grappling matches but there's really no sport grapplers on this card.
I don't have odds yet either.

reading now that Pat is a Pan-American champion in BJJ i'll pass just on his experience factor. I think at best Alex goes to a draw like the Clay match.

Blue belt , pass for me, i dont have access to any of his matches but id only play him if he has a wrestling background, lack of proof to his skills.

Rowes not bad but he’s too content to play guard, spends too much time on his back for me to like him. Look at his grappling record. All Ls

Malott should win, but odds are I guess about right?
Guida maybe as a dog, still has good cardio and will definitely be physically stronger and get top control. He just leaves his neck exposed soooo often...
I actually kinda like Thug Rose at dog odds. Gillian is the type of grappler that can make non-grapplers look lost, but against another capable grappler (which Rose definitely is), Gillian can look pedestrian. Concern is that Gillian takes this more seriously than Rose does...

Galanti looks to have some good takedowns but I don’t think I’m interested at these prices.

he could get rowe down easily and control him but he very well may get swept

think Phil may be too experienced for him

Actual what's the ruleset, it's draw if it goes to decision or did they change it?
Anyone know much about Pat Barry's opponent here?

Found this on the UG:
His opponent, Jonathan Petitt, is 0-1-0 in professional MMA. Born in Germany, the freestyle wrestling-focused combatant trains at the Des Moines MMA Academy. At the amateur level, Petitt has a 3-3-0 MMA record. Petitt normally competes in the light heavyweight division. With this in mind, Pat Barry will likely enjoy a size advantage in this bout.

Pat Barry vs. Jonathan Petitt is another surprising addition to what’s shaping up to be an exciting Fury Pro Grappling card this month.

Edit:
Don't think that's his opponent though.

45mins in/ worst grappling match known to man "Jon Pellot" is his opponent:

Prelim stream fucked up. Main card coming up on UFC FIGHT PASS

I’m not sure how Barry was ever favored at -250.

I didn’t even know who pellot was and I knew that wrong.

How is this gonna effect Rose's mental? Gotta tae that into account.
