This whole "can fed" shit is the biggest myth on Sherdog. Ronda was hyped because she was making short, easy work of the very top of the division.

Who in her division was she protected from?

Beat Tate two times (the only person to make out of the first with her prior to Holm).

When she faced Holly everyone was complaining that it was basically a set up and that Holly had no chance. Hard to argue she was being "protected" from Holly intentionally... or even unintentionally when we consider that Holly went on to lose against Tate.

You can't fight everyone at once. You face opponents one at a time. Ronda faced the women in her division who had risen to the top by beating the women she wasn't facing. Bethe successfully picked herself a money fight, but other than that there's nothing in Ronda's record that indicates she was being fed "cans" and there's no one who, at the time, she should have been fighting but was ducking for easier competition.
