Was it an icon fight? If so I probably helped him train for that fight lol. He was at Legends MMA for a while with us.When me and Jason Miller fought he was saying all kine of weird stuff to me. Tiki ran his mouth a lot during our fight too.

My favorite by far, the Mazzagatti "No talking rule"I always thought Diaz v Lawler 1 is the reigning champ of this category. Has anyone else ever been warned by the ref to stop verbal abusing his opponent (an actual rule back then)?

Not only Clay, but Benson, and even WMMA have to braid their hair now. I will admit, I kinda miss the days when they would just let them do what they wanted, but in a regulation sense, I get it.I think Grays complaining in that fight made the rule that Clay had to braid his hair for awhile
This has to be the first time someone has used "uncular" on Sherdog.Going from beating his ass to being all uncular and helpful.
STRONG AVATARIt’s funnier the way Ortega let’s him
me tooloved this fight. One of my favorites ever
Makes sense that Mayhem's always been crazy. He just went off the mega deep end a few years ago. When me and Jason Miller fought he was saying all kine of weird stuff to me. Tiki ran his mouth a lot during our fight too.
Oh, i just thought it became blatantly ignored. NOW I KNOOOOOOOOOOW.Ya that’s it. It was actually a rule. “No verbal taunting your opponent” or something like that. Somewhere along the way that rule got removed.
Still is in the Unified Rules:I always thought Diaz v Lawler 1 is the reigning champ of this category. Has anyone else ever been warned by the ref to stop verbal abusing his opponent (an actual rule back then)?
