I went to the "Nashville" Fuji BJJ tournament this weekend. It was very well run and I would do it again.
Pros:
Ran five mats all were active the entire time
Ran mostly on time
Mat format was nice. 2 for kids. One for white belts. One for women. One for Blue and Purples
Referees were consistent, professional, and well informed
We started just after 10 and were done by early afternoon
Cons:
It was listed a Nashville tournament and it was in Clarksville. That is a 45 minute difference.
General notes:
Rules were IBJJF
Weight classes were weigh in the night before or day of
weight classes were a little different than IBJJF
Mid sized tournament (4 in adult male feather weight gi)
