From a marketing point of view.. what would you do?

Let's say you work at the Zuffa marketing department and the following is true:

- Miesha is the champ
- Miesha, Holly and Ronda are all available to fight everybody at 135 lbs or catchweight
- Cyborg is available to fight everybody, but only at catchweight
- At UFC 200 they ALL have to fight

What matches would you make and why? And what would be the ideal result from a marketing perspective?

Again, this is not about what is fair.. this is about what would sell the most ppv's for now and in the future. I'm not sure myself but think it is an interesting question and curious how Sherdog sees it.

I don't see Holm/Rousey 2 as the biggest fight in UFC history. It doesn't even top GSP/Penn 2 by most standards.

I'd go with Tate-Holm 2 for the title, and Ronda-Cyborg at catchweight.
Ronda-Holm 2 has a huge drawing potential but it would be better if one of them holds the belt.

It's weird that given Holm's distinct lack of a ground game, you would consider Cyborg a "winnable" fight.
Of the three, i think Holm has the least chance of beating Cyborg.

I think the only one who I'd bet against beating her is Miesha and I still think she could pull it off, she looks very hesitant when she's not grappling and Cyborg wouldn't just box her like Holly tried to, she would come forward with Punches, knees, elbows, make it rough and tough in the clinch where she's probably physically stronger than all 3 of them, the only reason I give Ronda a chance is because they both come forward very aggressively and the first one to make a mistake would lose.


Holly kept Miesha off her for 3 & a half rounds, Cyborg only needs to keep her off for 1.

This scenario. I disagree with the last comment though. Holly struggles with power and would probably get ktfo.

Respectfully disagree, what suggests she struggles with power more than the other 2? She has been hurt once or twice but so have Tate & Ronda and they're a lot more susceptible to getting hit than Holly.

I think all 3 of them can potentially beat Cyborg I just think she's a counter punchers dream.

I was more so looking at her pro boxing career. She struggled against fighters that could bully her around.
