AMAZING game!!! I don't even like strategy games, but this is AMAZING!

You'll need to pay 9.99 to get the full experience, since they doled out the base game for free and didn't include the dlc. I want blood in the game standard, goddamnit!!

I got an error on my first try too, it loaded eventually.
Yeah, I wasn't sure what that was about. I didn't have any problems, but that error showed when I tried to embed, so that's why I edited in the cold link right away.

Is shogun good without the dlc?

It's still a top of the line strategy game. Just sucks they put even things like blood into dlc packaging. Like, really, feudal Japan was.......kind of bloody.

Death Coming, which I hear is not a sequel to Death Stranding (design looks slightly different), looks like a really neat little game. I'll be quite interested when that comes.

Showdown Bandit is free on Steam

Intriguingly, for the first time, next week's game isn't declared. They're just calling it "Epic Mystery Game" atm.

That game kind of looks like a fun little time waster that would probably work on my computer. I don’t have any epic games so I would I guess need to install the epic launcher. Why do people hate it/Epic so much? Is it ridden with DRM or malware or something?

Because the ownership is Chinese. Specifically, Tencent, the largest gaming company in the world, and a massive bane on the world of gaming. Huge in mobile. They're like the Gameloft of China, but simultaneously the EA of China.

So far they've been a light side force through Epic, but only because they're attempting to purchase their way into relevance against Steam's monopoly. Everybody sees through it. The moment they gain control of the market, or at least enough to satisfy them, they'll show their true face, and it's more rotten than anything we've ever seen.

Too often we take Gabe Newell and Valve (i.e. Steam) for granted over here.

Well I’m not too concerned about the politics of it all. Greasy business practices etc. don’t really concern me, as long as the apps don’t fuck with my system.

I see you updating this thread with Epic’s offerings quite often, so I assume you use it and that it’s safe enough?
