Wow, fun fight to watch. I then proceeded to watch Tony's fight versus Pettis, and that was a barnburner as well.

But jeez, Tony gets hit quite a lot. It makes the fights a shit ton of fun, and it makes it even more impressive that he's been able to go unbeaten for his last 12 fights.

But against a guy like Gaethje, I dunno, I think that'll be a serious issue.
I can smell the upset from a mile away!
 
I don't see much of that evolution folks talk about on here...

Tony is a mixed martial mess and Khabib would rape him worse than he did Conor.

Uh huh, okay.

You have a good point other than the fact that Tony is actually capable off his back, has about 10x the gas tank of Conor, has no quit in him, and has more than one win at LW (12 in a row actually). And has utterly ruined the faces of 7 consecutive opponents.

Aside from that stuff you have a great point.

I can't believe idiots are still parroting this nonsense that Lee was "dominating Tony" until the finish. Lee did well in the first round (as he always does), but missed most of the GNP if you play it in slow motion and look closely. Tony proceded to easily win round 2 and rocked Lee before the bell and then the third was an easy finish for El Cucuy.

I still think Khabib wins if they fight, but it's closer than people make it out to be and they need to stop discrediting Tony with this fight as an example of why Khabib will smash him. Plus Tony doesn't spar anymore (or at least hard spar) so he's always going to be a bit of a slow starter.
 
At least Kevin's staph infection excuse did not age well at all as we saw in his next fights. Tony's pace is simply unmatched

I expected big things from Lee after this fight
 
Lee had Kid AIDS on his chest and this explains this loss and all of his other losses.

The only thing I like about Cormier as a commentator is he brings some energy. He's like a kid in the candy store at times. Anik and Cruz straight up sound like robots on the mic. Outside of that he is incredibly biased and he seems like a bit of a dirty fighter as well.
 
Lee looks so much quicker and fluid here with his striking than he looked in his last fight. Same gassing issue though.
 
Always makes me laugh when they scramble to get on top on the first take down, looks like a couple of fish flopping on eachother

Dude wrecks nearly every fighter he's ever faced and he still gets talked about like he's some fucking can that will be easier than nearly ever fight Khabib's had

I am not sure if Khabib's fanbase are delusional, in denial or scared to acknowledge how good Tony actually is.

I think they try to convince themselves more than anything that Tony isn't a good enough fighter to be in there with khabib but Conor was by comparison....

What a fucking joke this place can be sometimes.
