RIP if true. He always had a ton of interesting info. A real shame.

He got the purple name(for fallen forum members) on my main forum, and his thread will be pinned for awhile so respects can be paid.

The sheer number of responses to this thread is astounding to me, I hadn't posted in many years and came here to join in the Honoring of such a good dude.

Wow, I just got back from a funeral to see Brother Frankie passed away. I considered Frankie one of my very good Sherbroz. We've chatted in many PM's & tagged each other in those financial chats... & I'd say we got to know each other pretty good. I consider him a friend. RIP brother~

I've talked to him a few times in DM's. What a nice guy.

In his last thread about ESPN Fight Night numbers he prefaced it with saying that he will be posting less in the near future cuz he was going into the hospital. Everyone went into responding about the numbers and what they meant. My post was “FrankieNYC is dying”, and he was the first one to “like” it.

He was one of the best posters.
I had so many great discussions with him over the years and some fun banter as well. Great poster and guy.
Big loss to everyone who had known.
 
i have never liked one post ever on this forum, but i just did for the opening post. thinking back, frankie would usually acknowledge my mma posts, and he liked many of my posts. the least i can do, is like a post regarding his passing. will not be liking any more posts. not because i don't like certain posts, but mainly because i prefer giving feedback, and not only liking a post. that's just my style.

Same here, he was always an easy going gentleman with a good sense of humor. Even when we didn’t agree on some things, it was always mutually respectful. Will definitely miss reading his posts..

I remember you saying that "Frankie is dying" comment & seeing his like on that. I'm sure in hindsite he's in the next evolution having a laugh about it
 
Been following this thread for last few days. Hoping somehow he'd "be back" but it seems sadly this is all true and he's no longer with us.

R.I.P. @FrankieNYC - a major loss to the Sherdog community.
- he was a damn good poster, balanced, knowledgeable, and calm. I enjoyed my interactions with him on various topics.
