FrankieNYC RIP

Shit for real?

Fuck I knew about Hunters Creed. Me and him were legit back in the early OT Sherdog days. But Det_Kimble too?

Life is short. Embrace the moments. Everything shares a beginning and an end.

RIP Sherhomies
See you on the other side FrankieNYC

Kimble died? WTF

I don’t think anyone knows for sure but he went from posting a lot to all the sudden not posting one day

Sad news.

Frankie was an asset to this site with his well thought out posts and his knowledge of the financial side of MMA. As much as he posted I can't recall him being negative towards other posters even if they questioned his numbers. That was a sign that he was a genuine guy.

RIP.

I'm pretty new, so I didn't know the guy but my thoughts go out to him and his family.

RIP, I don't post here enough to actually talk or make connections with other posters, but this dude seemed to be respected and like by a full community on the internet which is pretty impressive.

Condolences to those that knew him

He was extremely respectful during disagreements. I feel like absolute shit that the last time I spoke with him we were disagreeing and I probably was a bit of a prick. A reminder of how short life is.

Now, I feel bad about our last interaction on here..

RIP FrankieNYC

Same here. Only interaction I recall with him was a disagreement. It happens but I feel terrible.

It's pretty depressing that the last thing you do before you die is log on to sherdog.

What a shit way to go. (not trolling).

He was passionate about it and it probably helped him while going through a difficult time. Far worse ways

RIP or enjoy the afterlife my brother.

Fuck, hopefully not true but if so rest easy Sherbro, you will be missed!!

I really wish I was a nicer dude to that guy. Truly. @IngaVovchanchyn vouged for him hard and I was still mostly a dick. I did consider him a numbers expert i never doubted that. I showed him respect many times, but I don't remember our last interaction and I feel shitty about it. Tolstoy never accounted for the death of an online friend. With no funerals, no hassles, no will to be considered or contested, no unwanted time with family or other people at the funeral, the death of an E-friend is no hassle, it's just sadness, and/ or remorse in my case. I went pretty hard on that guy for many years. Dang. I thought he was a healthy 40 and we could argue for years. RIP FrankieNYC you were a better man than I am currently.

Im regretting the time or two i called Frankie a UFC shill but those typically turned out to be otherwise healthy discussions. Plus, he didn’t seem to mind(who really would?). Usually about Scott Coker and why there is and should be a difference in pay structure for preliminary bouts between the UFC and the way Coker/Bellator/SF had always done prelims. For the amount of respect I had for his diligence with financials and I never question his numbers. I thought he didn’t give Coker a fair shake so that turned into some testy exchanges which were eventually settled with maturity.

This was before he had really settled in as the numbers guru around these parts and it was more “who the fuck is this guy acting like a sauce?”. . Anyway, by as recently as me seeing this thread I would always check out Frankie’s posts for news or breakdowns. Eventually had more lighthearted exchanges with him.

RIP. He brought more than opinion to the forum and he’ll be missed

Fuck that sucks. Only a handful of posters stand out to me here, he was one. RIP.

Actually not a bad way to go at all. He was probabty at peace.

That’s incredibly sad, nothing else I can say. He was a kind and smart dude who loved the same sport I love. A lot of us shared that connection. He will be sorely missed
