FrankieNYC RIP

His death is like a liver kick. Delayed reaction, then you're floored.

What the fuck man? He was just posting last night.

I know that he said that he was sick and going in and out of the hospital, but this is really shocking.

He was legitimately one of the best posters that I've encountered here. Chill, knowledgable and never got into a petty argument with anybody.

RIP

If he liked or agreed with one of my posts, I actually felt proud. I cant say that for anybody else posting here.

RIP @FrankieNYC

“Uncle Frankie The Sherdog Numbers guy” was ageless similar to the great Erik Silva
No one knew his real age but it was told that he was into anti aging techniques learned from Diego Sanchez

* I have no idea but would guess in his thirties or early forties
Sounded more like 40s -50s from that audio someone posted.

True. We got contact from family of Shonuf right after it happened. With Kimble it's not 100% confirmed, but strongly suspected. He wet dark immediately, no notice, theory was car accident or other sudden death.

Shonuf posted in a PBP thread maybe 2 months ago saying he had been sick for a while but not dead, obviously.

Hope its not true about @FrankieNYC either, he was a cool guy...

Seems like he’s active in many mma forums and none have sighted him since. RIP Frankie.

Well documented. But he hasn't been back since. Pretty sure we all got trolled on that.

This is really sad. I can't really add to what's already been said. It's posters like him who've kept me coming back, when so much of what's on here is just negativity and fanboyism. Always a pleasure seeing his name pop up in a thread.

Rest well, Frankie.

Fucking gutted

I first got to talk to him over at the TUF thread, Rousey VS Tate.

He was one of the only people who agreed with me early that the way that the UFC were handling Rousey, that it would lead to an eventual meltdown.

They called us armchair-psychologists... He was however always a pleasure to talk to, when it came to MMA.

When it came to WWE, he was obviously biased and I would pull his leg for it.

Regardless, he was an asset to these forums. We lost a gem today. Just right before Wrestlemania too. I know he would have been looking forward to it.

RIP my brother. We'll carry the load for you here on Sherdog.

Gone, but never forgotten. God Bless <3

I always enjoyed Frankie’s contributions on Sherdog. Very sad to hear that he’s passed away.

Crazy! We were just posting with him last night. I can't believe it.
Rip Frankie.

RIP FrankieNYC

Him and I had a back and forth a few days ago but he was so cool to me unlike most Sherdog posters who are full of hate and anger who instantly insult you with cursing if they disagree with your opinion

Frankie was the opposite, a very respectful poster and if more Sherdoggers were like him, this place would be much more enjoyable

God Bless Frankie
