FrankieNYC RIP

Damn. Probably the most informed poster here. Called me out on my bullshit a few times too. R.I.P.

I'm still looking at "Users who are viewing this thread" hoping to see FrankieNYC there
RIP

Wow that’s insane, I am actually shocked

Frankie was by far my favourite poster on the board and is absolutely irreplaceable

He will be massively missed, his contributions will not be replaced

Super cool guy who knew more than most and probably got along with more people on here than anyone

R.I.P brother

Mid to late 40's isn't that old brother.. not at all by today's standards this is very sad news.

By today's standards 60 isn't old, even 70 is not old. The average life expectancy in the U.S. is 77 so 40's is super young.

Hope he will find his peace up there. God rest his soul

holy shit, i think we exchanged some posts trashing that guy who jumped Bret Hart just last night. Dude was a good poster, terrible to hear.

RIP sherbro.

I didn't interact with him much but I did notice from his posts I read that he always made the effort to be straightforward and considerate regardless of what kind of discussion he was having. RIP

Frankie was arguably the GOAT serious poster -- i.e. a guy that never trolled and was only here to talk honestly about a topic that he was knowledgeable about. Lots of good, funny posters and trolls on Sherdog, but only a few serious ones. I can't really think of anyone who was more consistent and earnest than Frankie. He had a good sense of humor, no doubt, as he would occasionally quote people and let them know that they cracked him up, but he wasn't here for the bullshit that a lot of us are.

What a sad thing. Sad that it's an anonymous soul. We talk to each other every day and impact each other without knowing who we are or what we do in our lives. You guys on sherdog are more important than you know.
There’s a reason we all keep coming back here. This is a great community, brought together by the love for ”hand to hand, foot to face” combat sports.

Lower the flags
A good man has passed
He has reached the last of frontiers
Lower the flags
Down to half-mast
For again the world has taken a turn for the worse

Hearing this news will definitely make a difference on the way I talk to people on here from now on. I used to bust his balls quite a bit and now I feel really bad about. I should have just appreciated what he contributed to this forum instead of treating him like a UFC shill. It's hard for me to write this now, it bums me out.

RIP Frankie -
Sorry I didn't get to know you better.

Dude knew his stuff and was passionate about the business of MMA. Always came across as a cool guy too.

Frankie, hope you've found peace brother. See you someday in that big octagon in the sky.

I still remember bonding with him over my openly screwing with people and encouraging chaos in the maymac subforum. We bro'd out and had a real good convo. I think that was my first time really talking to him.

He was so genuine, friendly, and funny. I wish I could have talked with him one last time before he passed but that's life...rest in peace brother. Thank you for making this site better for all of us shit heads.
