FrankieNYC RIP

Ugh it fucking sucks. Especially for us older guys, your own mortality smacks you in the face

Mid to late 40's isn't that old brother.. not at all by today's standards this is very sad news.

Death isnt bad, as its eternal nothingness, but the fear of maybe never existing again, is something thats pretty much bone shaking.

I do hope there is atleast a heaven or other world after death, but reality suck, and its more than likely its eternal nothingness. Just nothing.

Some find comfort in that, others are afraid. Personally I hope, I go in my sleep, painlessly, and old as hell.

Always enjoyed reading his threads on the business side of the UFC, PPV etc..

His family must be absolutely heartbroken, RIP @FrankieNYC.

Frankie went out swingin tho. That bret hart thread was pandemonium! Who the fuck wants to go out on a saturday night when chaos like that is reigning on sherdog?

RIP frankienyc. Always liked reading his posts

I am hoping this isn't true. This guy was amazing. I really appreciated him here. And I'm glad I let him know it. One of the best posters we have ever had. Rest in peace friend.

Damn! What I liked most in my interactions with him was he was a smart guy. With all the crap that people post on here regularly it was nice having a conversation with a grownup.
I hope this isn't true.

Damn, R.I.P. if true.

Was he an older fella? What happened, was he ill with something?
As his friend who emailed me said he was a private person. He did tell us he was ill,and i assume thats all he was willing to divulge.

Keep skipping forward in pages to see good news but unfortunately the heartfelt condolences from a community he enriched confirms the memorial.

I am just another poster who saw many of his comments over time. It is a testament to a sherdog poster to rise above the swarm. He will be missed here, as I am sure in his world.

Godspeed

This is very sad news.

RIP

RIP brother

He was my go to guy for PPV sales. You could tell he liked the numbers game

Literally the only person on this entire forum I would go out of my way to read his posts. Because he didn't post bullshit seeking likes, and he obviously took time to speak intelligently on whatever topic he was commenting on.

One of the best ever to post here. RIP homey.
