FrankieNYC RIP

I really wish I was a nicer dude to that guy. Truly. @IngaVovchanchyn vouged for him hard and I was still mostly a dick. I did consider him a numbers expert i never doubted that. I showed him respect many times, but I don't remember our last interaction and I feel shitty about it. Tolstoy never accounted for the death of an online friend. With no funerals, no hassles, no will to be considered or contested, no unwanted time with family or other people at the funeral, the death of an E-friend is no hassle, it's just sadness, and/ or remorse in my case. I went pretty hard on that guy for many years. Dang. I thought he was a healthy 40 and we could argue for years. RIP FrankieNYC you were a better man than I am currently.

Rest in peace, Frank. Always seemed to be an extremely polite person. Prayers to his family.

What a wonderful community. You folks rally hard when people are in dark times. Almost brings a tear to me eye and makes me faithful that humanity might turn out ok.

I am an NYC guy , we chatted about a bar near me he used to frequent. I had hoped to do a watch party with him someday soon. This is awful, forget how great a poster he was, he was a radiantly positive and mature person.

In fact, the kind of positivity and maturity that a chronic illness could bring about, given perspective and struggle.
He was one of the few guys id go out and have a beer with irl. Obviously his health prevented it...
But hes one of the real old school nyc guys i like to trade stories with.

It's all good, man. He was a good dude, just like you.

RIP, I liked his posts and it was a pleasure to see him report on news here.

Not sure how you got that out of this, but try paying more attention.

Some people are truly miserable and try and assume that everyone else is as miserable as them to feel better about themselves. Fuck that guy. Hopefully the mods get his post soon.

I guess no one has confirmed this yet (and possibly never will)?

According to his own profile page he had heart issues for the past 5 years and had been in and out of hospital for the past year.

So I presume that's what happened, if it did.

ps. I didn't know that he worked for Zuffa previously.

Genuinely enjoyed reading his posts. RIP frankie

well i didnt read the entire thread because ive got a life, but nobody is saying anything besides hes young and dead, so 2+2 is usually 4.

care to enlighten me or just waste my time lol
I guess young people can't get sick with life threatening diseases? For someone named "LogicalPoster" you sure are a fucking dipshit.

Man....

I'd see that dancing F every now and again and I'd know that it was going to have a quality post beside it.

Rest In Peace Sherbro. The lights of Sherdog will be dimmer without you.

Prayers to his family and loved ones. :(

RIP.

He was one of the most knowledgable posters on here when it came to the business aspect of MMA (contracts, viewership numbers...etc).

So has it been verified that Frankie passed?

If so, RIP. He always had great details on the financial stuff.

Tragic news

Anyone know what happened to @LouisBolanos

IIRC his absence was planned. I guess he found something better to do than troll Sherdog -- or he's doing it under a different username (though I doubt it, since his style of trolling is impossible to miss).

I never knew he was ill or bed ridden.
