Then there was Cub. In the final 10 seconds of a 25 minute fight, Frankie gets the sub. Whoopdedoo, he subbed an exhausted Cub Swanson...

His next fight was against Faber who came up from BW, 5 rnd decision win.

Then he got a lucky KO on Mendes and if it wasnt luck then it was either because Mendes' chin is shot or Mendes just fu**ed up. Edgar was fortunate.

Based on merit, of course he deserves a shot but im certain he gets murked by Conor.

He is as Conor says he is, on the decline.

personally I think the Mendes win means he does deserve the fight, but I dont see this as an unwinnable fight for Conor by any stretch of the imagination

The UFC doesn't likely want to match him up with Conor because he's one of the worst matchups possible for him. The gas tank and way his mixes in TDs with his striking could be bad for Conor. They really don't want to see Conor drop two fights in a row because it's not great for business. And I can understand their take on that.
