Who is the more cunning, devious and diabolical schemer? Washington's Frank Underwood or Westeros Petyr Baelish (Little Finger)? Both are morally depraved and would resort to anything to accumulate more power. Both are motivated by revenge and both have systematically destroyed those who stood in their way.

Frank, easily.

Frank takes it over anyone in the GoT cast, but there are more manipulative characters than Baelish that could have made it a closer race.

I'm hard pressed to think of a character in any of the shows I watch that's as devious and scheming as Underwood. Nucky Thompson from Boardwalk Empire is pretty damn close. That guy always comes out spotless when the dust settles.

Frank might be the biggest scumbag of all time. He wins

Baelish's biggest moments haven't happened/been revealed yet in GoT, but even after those I'd give the edge to Underwood

Frank only kills and connives to preserve himself, just like Walter White. Joffrey kills people just for the sheer enjoyment from it, he is way worse.

After finishing two seasons of HOC, I must say Frank Underwood is truly the most badass of all the antiheroes. He would lay the smack down on Tony Soprano, Vic Mackey, Dexter Morgan and Walter White in less than a day's work.

Hell none of them are important enough to even warrant his attention and if they were smart, they'd sure as hell do everything they can to avoid getting it because that would be the last thing they'd do.

I'd like to see him go against his father character Francis Urquhart.

What do you mean by "lay the smackdown"?

True, but I do feel that Frank enjoys destroying the lives of others as well, even though he is doing it to either preserve himself or move up in the ranks.

As in he'd ruin them or have them wiped off the earth.

Frank could pretty much ruin anyone as far as scheming.

especially considering his newly appointed position at the end of season 2

But in matters of life and death (ie he and another character trying to kill one another), I'd exclude Dexter from your list of people Frank could lay the smackdown on. He's so below the radar and contains such a variety of skills he's really a wild card for any Character A vs Dexter scenario.

If it's book Littlefinger, it's an interesting question. If it's show Littlefinger, it's Underwood clearly.

The eunuch from got wins and you all didn't even realize it

Both Varys and Littlefinger are pretty devious bastards. Who you'd rate higher is going to have a lot to do with how the final books unfold. Less people suspect Littlefinger to begin with.

TV Baelish? Underwood wins easily (and Urquhart wins overall). With Baelish in the books its closer and I'm not sure.

Basically, Frank Underwood is so awesome that the minute any one character is compared to him, it sparks a debate about all characters being compared to him.

Underwood > TV Littlefinger by a mile

Book Little finger is a tougher call but I still think Frank finds a way to end him/make him disappear, etc.
