Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Mir woud be the favorite but I can still see Mir catching Brock in a sub. Mir is extremely dangerous from his guard, which also happens to be where Brock pummels people

You should really go back & watch their 2nd fight at UFC 100 again. Brock leaves zero room for Frank to even get into position for submissions. Brock has the very rare ability to generate a ton of power in small spaces. He doesn't have to posture up to do a lot of damage.

The fact that he doesn't need to create distance to do serious damage severely limits submission opportunities. Without any space to work with, there aren't any submissions to be had from the bottom. His power combined with his wrestling ability & bjj skills, make him one of the toughest guys there is to submit from the bottom.
