The way he survived and managed to catch Big Nog when he was basically out on the ground is legendary. Anyone else would have got wrecked on the ground. Or when he had a 300 lbs man in tim sylvia on top of him and surviving without problems and even caught Sylvia in a defensive armbar.

Also surviving Overeem on the ground is pretty impressive. Reem TKO'd on the ground fighters like prime kharitonov, prime Buentello, prime Brett Rogers and Stefan Struve with ease.

Buttom

Hmmm

your avatar also has a pretty good buttom game

He was defenseless and destroyed by Brock so no.

He's got the best offensive bottom game, perhaps.

I'd give it to Fabricio, for the HWs.

Someone who gets stomped and finished from bottom by Ian Freeman and Marcio Cruz doesnt have the best defensive bottom game.

Mir has gotten beaten down on the ground far too many times to say he even has a good defensive game from the bottom.

Big Nog got beaten too. Condit got beaten. Mousasi got beaten too. But it doesn't mean they don't have great defensive bottom game.

lol, no, Mir's biggest weakness grappling wise is his defense and positioning.

Defensive armbar?

Mir beat nog with strength move. Plus he was old and past it, might have happened in prime. But who knows

Always said kimura strength move. Still impressive, very.

Condit has never really been badly beaten down on the ground (GSP did some good work from top position, but nothing similar to what the likes of Freeman, Cruz, Lesnar, or Overeem were able to do to Mir). Jacare outgrappled and eventually submitted Mousasi on the ground, but Jacare is one of the greatest grapplers of all time. I'd also suggest Mousasi's bottom game is slightly overrated by some of his bigger fans.

Do you remember that shoulder crank submission he did from the bottom to Wes Sims I think. That shit is painful

"BUTTom". Was that intentional? I believe it was.
