Frank Dux UFC

Back in the early days of the UFC, people were asking for Frank Dux to be invited.

Not sure if Frank Dux was a total invention but there was some kind of tournament going on in the far east. Ron Van Clief competed and got Koed in the finals.

Frank dux could very well be legit...pre internet era has tons of secrets that are indeed kept safe...

From his demonstration videos where his kicking through big champagne bottles with double single leg kicks and i believe striking thru bullet proof glass or cracking it...it might not be so far fetched...also in the early MMA days a guy with a solid all around game would destroy TMAs of the day..if Frank Dux was indeed trained by legit ninjitsu lineage he would be more then capable of beating single style martial artists..

I feel like none of you remember it well enough and that's why after 2 pages there still hasn't been any serious answers.

Anyway, my belief is that it would be that African guy that climbed trees and chopped coconuts, the reason being he is closest to the grappling style that won Royce the first UFC. Almost everyone else had a purely striking style.

I actually got to read the black belt article from the 80s about his claims. Hahaha its fuckin insane. He used to talk about how theyd fight on slanted roofs and shit to test their skills. Its the kind of bullshit readers of the magazine must have wished so bad to be true...even if there is absolutley NO EVIDENCE whatsoever hahaha. I mean Bloodsport was an awesome movie,even without it being based on a real story anyway.

As a little kid, my dream fight was Paco vs Suan Paredes (aka Tong Po from Kickboxer).
Michel Qissi, the French-speaking Moroccan-Belgian fighter, brother of Abdel Qissi (aka Khan from Mongolia, the big bad from The Quest) was my favorite from Bloodsport.

Such a shame that he was taken out in his prime from a total freak accident while facing Chong Li, no different in nature from the total 110% fluke that was Anderson Silva vs Chris Weidman II

All im saying it was a different time...people didnt film Everything...cameras where expensive and big u couldnt just sneak a video like today..there wasnt the internet or cell phones

Im not talking bloodsport the movie...im.talking private chinese fight club or asian fight clubs...those definetly exist/existed you think brazil was the only place doing NHB fights
