July’s UFC on FOX 20 event in the Windy City has a new heavyweight matchup.

Francis Ngannou (7-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and Bojan Mihajlovic (10-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) have been added to the summer card, officials today announced.

UFC on FOX 20 takes place July 23 at United Center in Chicago. The event is expected to air on FOX following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass, though the lineup and bout order haven’t been finalized.

The fighters were originally scheduled to fight at UFC Fight Night 86 in April, but Mihajlovic was ultimately pulled from the card.

This fight was supposed to go down at UFC Fight Night 86 but Bojan withdrew with an injury, guess the UFC opted to rebook it. They're taking their time with Ngannou. I was hoping he'd get someone like Struve. What do you guys think?

I actually love the fact that they're taking it slow as fuck with Ngannou. He's 29, extremely young for a HW. The division can use some more talent.

Rushing him and having him potentially get clobbered against top 10-15 guys would be silly

Who????

Dude I was hoping they'd take their time to groom him, but throwing him some flat out unknown guy is just a waste of time...

I would've preferred a fight between him and Derrick Lewis or Shawn Jordan.

I'm glad they are building him up as well, this guy can be a beast.

Shawn Jordan isn't even in the UFC anymore and Derrick Lewis is fighting Roy Nelson.

Well shoot, give him at least someone with some kind of name or at least some UFC experience...

What about that Jared Cannonier guy? He's coming off a nice KO...

I'm a Francis believer after the Blaydes fight. I didn't give him nearly enough credit before.

Hehe, Bojan lost his first 3 fights and have since been on a 10 fight win streak, i wonder what happened to him.

Always want to see a Ngannou fight.

Cannonier is going down to LHW.

Poor Mihajlovic. I've watched him fight like 3 years ago. He's an overweight middleweight, very small for the division.

I understand why you feel that way but I have absolutely no problem with this as it shows they want to build him. This is basically the opposite of what they usually do with HWs. I'm sure if he wins this he'll get a name.

I don't see it happening. He tried a while back, pulled out injured (bullshit, he knew he'd be way off the mark) and returned at HW. With the new IV bans and USADA, no way he fights at 205lbs, IMO.

Cannonier would've been my pick, or Walt Harris, both step-ups but nothing drastic.

Good to see Francis slowly rise up the ladder very similar to Cain pre-Kongo giving him time to develop his game over time before getting a top 10-15. Glad there not Lesnar'd him and pushing him straight to the top, let the prospects develop while the aging top 10 HW's retire or decline while he develops into that top 10 spot and who knows from there.

Surely within the next year or two, the top 10 should be different there was it's been the past few years where it's been the same or thereabouts.

Ngannou already at his third fight, he might face a ranked guy soon.

Hopefully he fights someone Ranked after this.

Dude is legit.

I believe Ngannou will be champion before 2017. Bet on it.

Just watched his most recent fight, he seems to be an overpowering wrestler. Doesn't really have that much technique on the ground and on the feet he's somewhat slow with his movements and reflexes. Should be an easy fight for Ngannou.

I got a crush on this guy. no homo, cant wait to see him fight again.

I like how Ngannou is keeping active @ HW. Good job Francis.
