Francis Ngannou gonna make 500k for the Stipe fight

LOL at Frank Lebœuf complaining that Ngannou will make more than he won while being in the French team that won the 98 Fifa World Cup, and Emmanuel Petit (who actually scored the last goal against Brazil in the finale) saying it's normal because they weren't risking their lives on the football field.

Ngannou said his power comes from his dad but since very young he wanted to do something positive with his strenght.

So giving brain damage to other human beings is considered something positive?

Yes. A lot of MMA athletes have parlayed their natural talent for violence and mayhem into something beautiful and inspirational... Betcha didn't know that this guy used much of early-day Chute Boxe earnings to complete his PhD in 14th Century Korean Romantic Literature - Didn't think so...

do all other title contenders get 500k?

how come their favorites are being taken care of but other top fighters arent getting near the same. volkan getting 500k for his fight?

Good for Francis.

That is just embarrassing. Heavyweight champ fighting for peanuts.

He was smart to hold out for contract renegotiation. He was getting screwed, big time.
You are not counting Reebok checks and free fight kits. That probably added like tree fiddy.

500K for a heavyweight title fight isn't exactly spectacular, but considering he was homeless just a few years ago, I doubt he's complaining.

If he wins this one, he will probably make considerably more in his next fight.

It's still more than twice what Miocic got for his title shot with Werdum. ($210,000—$65,000 to show, $65,000 win bonus, $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus, $30,000 Reebok sponsorship).

He is the UFCs next big cash cow if he knocks out Stipe.
I still think Stipe has a good chance, has a better body of work than Francis, all HW's hit hard.
Ngannou just hits the hardest. I wouldnt bet on this fight its too 50/50 for me.

Hopefully the ppv does well & they both make good $ from ppv cut as well.

You are cray cray if you think the UFC will give him a PPV share from a contender position.

They will nickel and dime him to the max and he will be happy with what he gets.

And Dana and co only opened up their wallets once there was the prospect of Ngannou winning the belt. (They just fobbed off Miocic with a promise, to get him to sign on for JDS II.) Jeez.

500k for title defender and 300k for contender.. around that. something like this.
holm got for a little bit "ish ish ish" 300k ...thats kinda insane.

He has a short window for these big pay days, it will dry up after he gets exposed and starts losing. Better invest wisely and hire the right people.

Other cliff :
-He started working at the age of 10 because his family was really poor, he worked to pay his scholarship and to pay his furniture.
-He stop school before finishing Highschool
-He made it to France not by plan but illegal and he wont tell how
-Being homeless was the best part of his life
-His father had retard strenght but was a street fighter and had bad reputation. Ngannou said his power comes from his dad but since very young he wanted to do something positive with his strenght.
-Reputation is really important for him
-He still has fear and anxious from his past life, but he said 20th of january is the day he will close this chapter of his life and open a new one
-Young he had the power of 2-3 co-worker
-He will make 500k $ for the stipe fight

Illegal immigrant mentality, then?

I've never been homeless nor been through half the shit Ngannou has BUT I'll take $500K in a heartbeat.

jeah thats contract dependet to. overeem get payd 800k for the title fight as a contender against stipe while stipe as a champ made 150k.

overeem is by the way one of the best payd fighters in the ufc besides bisping for example. bisping told much about "i deserved a money fight" in the past to get GSP but he was already one of the best payd fighters.

conor is the money king he stays all above them.
