Bro I was just talking to my wife about this an hour ago. The heavyweight division is in big trouble. I think in about 2-3 years about 10 popular fighters will be gone due to age. To name a few: Hunt, Arlovski, Lesnar, Werdum, Dos Santos and velasques (maybes), overeem, oleinik, etc...

So the obvious answer is to recruit up and coming talent or recruit from competitors. Then you can bump some LH's up or possibly adjust the weight class limit. Idk I think we will see some down years in HW. Not enough fighters out there
