Last year, they aired UFC 206 on Fox at Christmas Eve after NFL (huge lead-in boost) and it did 4.7 million viewers and gave it huge exposure.

Dana White was so happy he said they would do it again this year.

Instead, Fox puts UFC 218 on FS1 and plays Bob's Burger and Ice Age after the NFL. Fox showing lack of interest

Fox offered UFC double the amount of their last deal & bid over $3.5b for the company.
Pretty much opposite of "lack of interest"

Payback for UFC slapping them in the face with that abominable introduction and HW fight they drug out 30 minutes to last a minute. Lmao

The UFC is negotiating for a new deal now that PPV is dying. Why the hell would Fox bid them up with such a rich timeslot?

Kinda funny though as TSN actually re-aired it, as well as 217, a couple of days ago.

Ufc is dying

In the Sylvia Plath sense? Sure. We all are. But it is not dying like Chloe is dying...I mean that bitch looks like Meryl Streep's rape apologizing skeleton if you made it smile and be extra nice, and that boney bitch has lubes and dildos--not your dildo but A dildo.

Now Dana knows what it's like to be promised big things and have the other party not honour that promise .

And didn't the UFC come back with a number that's way bigger from the offer? Wonder if Fox has decided to cut ties, but then why would they air UFC at all?

Hello Disney anyone?

They supposedly upped the offer to early-mid $200m average
There is an undisclosed offer from NBC & a possibility of Time Warner/ATT (if it gets approved soon)

but as I stated HERE we don't know exactly what the offer(s) entails
It can be X-amount for a similar amount of programming or X-amount for more.
It can be different platforms & OTT
It could be for a PPV partnership

UFC can also split it up between different platforms.

So much to offer & counter
