Forums are very slow, un-responsive and clunky?

Using Chrome I find the forums have become extremely clunky to use in the last couple of weeks. I am experiencing no problems on any other websites. Anyone else reporting issues?

I'm on Chrome and it works fine for me. Definately not slower than other sites I use.

Only suggestion I have is to maybe clear your brower history and cache and all that.

Same here. Just noticed the Twitter feature.

Yeah, get that the fuck off my shit. If I want to see it, I should have to seek it out.

It's not the twitter feed. 9/10 it's the ads. The images in the twitter feed are smaller than the avatars.

If you look at the developer tools in Chrome, you can see what's causing the page to load slow. It's the ads.

The twitter widget is taking about 122 ms to load.

The slowest item? 648 ms. The source? http://uk-ads.openx.net

This site runs like crap on every browser, on every platform. The one exception seems to be the mobile app for Android. It's quite a bit faster, and has fewer ads than other stock browsers.

Same issue here with Firefox. The forum makes my browser grind to a halt. Firefox is using almost 1GB of RAM with a couple of sherdog tabs open.

I am running Firefox and have no issues...how often do you clear your cookies and cache...

Running Chrome and if I'm not running Ad Block, it freezes up at times. Ad block running I've got no issues

Sherdog has been really slow for me as well lately. I think it is the ads, specifically the ones with the videos.
