Forrest Griffin is criminally underrated

I think he's actually properly rated. Most people recognize that his back to back wins over Shogun and Rampage were huge upsets and that in a lot of ways he over-achieved. I don't really see anyone who argues that he was a dominant champion or that he was someone constantly at the cusp of fighting for the title or anything like that. He is basically the underdog that managed to become champion through big upsets.

No one ever lists him as one of the best strikers, grapplers, hardest hitters, elusive etc. etc. fighters the division has seen.

He's the most overrated. And fyi rampage threw the title fight so he could go to Hollywood. Watch the post fight, he didn't even care about the loss, every time Forrest threw anything rampage looked like he could've ended him. UFC got their Cinderella story and rampage went to Hollywood. Win/win. If ppl don't think this is possible, all I've gotta say is keep drinking the koolaid. UFC is just as corrupt as boxing deal with it
