As violence erupted in downtown Dallas during a deadly ambush on police, one ex-Congressman immediately blamed President Obama — and threatened his life.

Former Illinois Rep. Joe Walsh declared "war" on Obama and Black Lives Matter protesters in a now-deleted tweet during the Dallas chaos, and then continued ranting about how they are responsible for the deaths of officers.

"3 Dallas Cops killed, 7 wounded," Walsh, a 54-year-old Tea Party Republican, tweeted soon after news of the attack broke.

"This is now war. Watch out Obama. Watch out black lives matter punks. Real America is coming after you."

Should I immediately jump to conclusions and declare the Tea Party is a bunch of thugs who want to kill black people?

I do believe that Obama is a racial divider. He's very clever in how he says things as to not get himself in trouble. But he says it a certain way that riles up some black citizens.

BLM is a terrorist group, so that part would be fitting. BLM and black people are not interchangeable terms.

He said he is at war with the president. Told him to watch out and real (white) America is coming for him.
You put "white" in there.

Coming for them could mean anything. Physically, politically, legally?

I wouldn't call Hussein Obama "real America" either. He hates traditional American values and he loves Islam and Communism. Obama has said there is "no difference between capitalism and communism." That is not "Real American."

So in your opinion a black person taking part in a protest for BLM is a terrorist?

BLM is a terrorist group. Is a person a terrorist for taking part in a Klan rally? Not necessarily, but they are nevertheless part of or in association with a terrorist group.

Traditional in your sense. If you want 1950 America that's you can live that way. That doesn't mean I have to or anyone else.

"Real American" can mean many things imo.
I don't think "traditional American values" is the only way to be an American

If you want Islam brought to America, communism (after all, there is no difference), and joining the New World Order like Obama and Biden speak of, you can have that. It's not for me.

Sounds like an explanation for why he's a former congressman.

There is variety here. But some of our traditional values are what made us great. Our diversity is not what made us great. And not that there's anything wrong with some diversity.

This Joe Walsh character should try out for the WWF

"This is now war. Watch out Obama. You're not a believer in the demandments, brother. Brother, you're a cheapshot artist. Watch out black lives matter punks. Real America is coming after you. Donald Trump, don't worry about my Walshamaniacs, they're survivors. They're ready, but you, Macho Man, I don't care where you stand. I don't care what you believe in. And whatcha gonna do Obama and BLM, when the whole world of Walshamaniacs destroy you?!?!"

No, the media already started that narrative years ago, and essentially tanked the Tea Party movement, which ideologically, would have been a good fit for many BLM supporters. The left managed to convince everyone that because the Tea Party valued personal responsibility and non-reliance on the government, it must be racist and pushed as many right wing xenophobes toward the movement as possible.

A few soundbites and videos of some "bad people" agreeing with Tea party principles and a few articles with the word "racist" and bam, the Tea party is sunk for good.

I'm not against traditional values, just wanted to say that America is more than that

Depends. Did Walsh hashtag it?
