I know a lot of people forget this fight but Keith Jardine vs. Matt Hamil is a fight I always remember for some reason.

Keith Jardine is winning the fight and then Matt Hamil gets poked in the eye. It was an accidental poke but Herb Dean still took a point away from Jardine. Of course, Jardine is down now and has to make up the point and loses the fight because he has to change his strategy.

Jardine goes on to get cut from the UFC after this fight. Unfortunate.

Another fight people forget is Bobby Lashley vs. Chadd Griggs.

Bobby is winning the fight but is gassing badly. He just scores another timely take down and the ref stops the fight to check a cut on Lashley. He then restarts the fight standing and never gives Lashley top position back and Lashley goes on to get KTFO later that round.

Anymore bad calls that come to mind that cost people fights.

Kongo vs Aldana, He poked him in the eye, but no one noticed it at the time, Rogan and Goldberg didnt notice it and nor did the ref. the fight was stopped about 20 seconds later after a few knees and punches by Kongo. but Aldana could not see and his eye closed because Kongo jammed a middle finger in his eyeball. I seemed to be the only one who noticed it along with his team in the corner.
