I need help. I have to get some movies for someone who loves Oldboy, The Host. and Fav. Director is Chan-Wook Park.

So what are some good movie on Blue-Rays i could get that would fall in-line with his likes. Some stuff that he might not have seen maybe.

An excellent horror/psychological thriller movie, with more to it than just jack-in-the-box shock factor.

There is an US remake called The Uninvited, but as it usually is, the original is far superior. Most horror movies you see from Hollywood are remakes, so if you ever want to watch a horror movie and find one created by Hollywood, but it has recieved shitty reviews, try to look up the original.

The japanese versions of "The Grudge" and "The Ring". You will not be sorry. The japanese make some of the world's best horror. "Let the right one in" is a great film as well, but it is not the same kind of horror as these two.

i've seen frontiers and martyrs and they are two of the worst movies i've watched. Martyrs has the distinction of being the absolute worst piece of shit i've ever seen.

I don't like the genre in general, but Ils at least tries to incorporate some classic horror elements.
