Okay let's think back to how Romero got fuck over for a title shot for a year and half?

Remember when he beat Jacare in a title shot eliminator bout....Only to be fucked over because he pop for a tainted supplement, Only to which he proves his innocents of and still sat out for damn near a year only to lose his title shot (yeah I believe he's innocent). Waits a year and comes back to take another title eliminator with the Former Champion (who only had one loss). Obilitarates the Former Champion.

Then was promised the title shot only to be duck by the then current champion and past over for a retired past his prime...first time fighting at middleweight...Ex Champion from a lower division.

When the UFC finally decides too give him a shot it's for an Interim Title against a Young Hungry Ass Lion in Robert Whittaker who besmirch everybody else he fought at Middleweight up till that, only to barley squeaking by Old Man Yoel.

So yeah Yoel 100% deserves his shot even though he miss weight. BACK PAY MUTHAFUCKAS!!!!!!!

I don't think he deserves it. He just lost to Whittaker, than beat Rockhold, but missed weight pretty badly. He should fight Kelvin next and cement it.

He was a short notice replacement. Hard to fault the guy on this one. It's the one and only time he's missed weight.

He just lost to a crippled Whittaker. Jacare has a better case IMO. He's two losses out and never cheated or came in overweight. If anything those two should fight for eliminator based on close first fight. It's not like Whittaker is fighting anytime soon.
