Not necessarily the best fighter, but the one that usually has the best knowledge of how to react and what to do in any given situation.

Lobov might actually have the highest IQ dude speaks 3 languages fluently and has been hit a million times in the head by Conor's death touch.

GSP has no fight IQ, he just follows instructions from Firas and Danaher, both far smarter than he is.

The fact that he can't even speak proper English says it all. Firas is Muslim French Canadian and he speaks perfect English, French and Arabic.

Cruz just spazzes out mostly, it looks "unpredictable" but it's really just random movements he puts no thought into. That's why he has plantar fasciitis because he's constantly planting his feet wrong.

Conor isn't smart he doesn't even know how to control his cardio and gassed against a guy who was vacaying in Cabo.

GSP isn't smart at all he's just coachable and follows the instructions of smart men like Danaher.

Woodley isn't smart he just plays it safe then complains about people booing him.

Jones is so smart he keeps getting busted for PEDs. He is pretty creative in the cage though so I'll give him a pass

Stipe went full retard and engaged DC in the clinch where DC is strongest and got KTFO

Nah I call that coachability. High fight IQ is effective creativity and adaptability inside the cage. GSP is very coachable but he's not smart.

3 English Chinese and Spanish. All of which better than GSP's English. Firas Zahabi is French Canadian but he speaks perfect English and Arabic. Ariel Helwani is French Canadian yet he speaks French English and Hebrew well (okay his French is worse than GSP's French but it's still better than GSP's English, especially during his WW reign). You can tell if someone's smart based on how fast they can pick up languages. For example Jose Aldo never managed to speak English which means he's got low IQ and that's exactly why Conor was able to mindfuck him so badly, despite not being very smart himself.

Living in the country side and living on the Montreal island is what made this huge gap between GSP and Firas english. In Montreal where there are a lot of people coming from immigration it's pretty much, speak your native language at home (arabic in Firas' case), you speak english with your friends and you speak and learn french in class because of bill 101.

In the countryside, or pretty much anywhere in Quebec province aside from Montreal and the very close suburbs, you speak french at home, you speak french with your friends and you speak french in class. There's english lessons but at the same level that there's a spanish class in the US schools. You can live all your life in Quebec without speaking a word of english.
 
At a buck 35, Cruz and TJ are pretty good, but Andre Soukhamthath is the best.

Agree with all of that, pretty fair analysis. Except for Woodley, I know he's never gonna be popular but I think he's adapted since the Rory beating, imo he's one of the best fight planners in the game.
