I remember how people made all these excuses for Anderson when Weidman beat him. However when Chris mentioned that he had a broken foot you called that an "excuse". I realize that Rockhold wasn't at his best either, but to completely discount Weidman (forgetting the 2.5 rounds before the spin kick fail) is moronic.

I've watched the first fight twice. First time was live and I felt like Rockhold really took it to him even prior to the spin kick. Second go round I actually thought Weidman had Rockhold hurt prior to the spin kick. Rockhold is a resilient fighter and I'm not suggesting he would have been finished but point is the fight was definitely close prior to that moment.

That's kind of what I was thinking going into this thread. I mean, yeah, not everyone is going to like every fighter but there are way worse fighters getting hate. I mean, Weidman's hate is Luke warm at best. oh, I made a punny.

Do people really hate Weidman anymore for the Anderson losses? I hated Weidman at first but the guy grew on me and I felt bad seeing Rockhold pound him out.

I like Rockhold too though, the guy's a dick but he's hilarious when he's being that way

Hey, buddy--Rockhold was winning before the spinning kick. Don't believe me? Check the score cards all the judges gave round 2 to Luke. 2/3 gave round 1 to Luke. Luke's biggest concern was his cardio because he was dealing with staph--and he was still winning the fight exhausted. Then he obliterated him in the third and fourth. So--I'm not sure what fight you were watching...
