Food for when you're sick

Cheap Ramen. That way if I throw it up I don't feel like I wasted money, I'm a cheap bastard.

I also struggle to eat when sick but I usually chicken and rice. It's been my favorite since I was a kid so it makes me feel like home.

All great choices, TS. Especially dig Pho when I'm sick. Other foods I like to eat when sick...

is that from Da Maat?

Chicken noodle soup, gatorade, tons of water. Pho is also amazing for when you're sick. I'll usually just pick it up from the Vietnamese place down the street.

Should have called it 2 hour meals other people make for my sweet sickypoo ole self when I have a runny nosey wosey.

A jalfreze will kill any cold if you catch it in time. So that.

I eat ice cream.

Sausage egg cheese biscuit & hash browns to grease the throat. McDonald's saimin's hot broth also for the throat.

Chicken Noodle Soup, the cheap stuff you just add to boiling water, throw in a handful of other pasta and cook until the pasta is done.

Also I like to drink an Orange juice, Ginger Ale mix. Its my go to beverage when i'm not feeling so well.

The only thing that I've found works, and is backed up in studies, is zinc lozenges. They are best taken at the very beginning of a cold though.

Shin Ramyun Black is the most amazing topramen style ramen you can get.

Cooks in 3 minutes!

I had some of this in high school, no idea why I never revisited it because holy god was it delicious.

This, or a really spicy beef chilli (although it's easier to get an Indian place to deliver when you're sick).

There's more Vit C in fresh chillies than oranges or black currants so yeah, if I can't it in time it's always gone the next day. Tastiest medicine ever. Turmeric's exceptionally good for you too.

100% right.
any of these dishes require at least 2 hours of work.
Ramen and Pho broths alone have to simmer for a minimum of 6 hours.

Pho broth I get. But, no Korean dish/soup should be taking 6 hours to cook. I cook almost all Korean dishes and I've never spent 6 hours cooking any of them.
