Not only there aren't that many fighters so they all end up fighting each other on and on, but even the top 5 guys aren't even remotely close to having a chance to win that belt...
Dodson is clearly the 2nd best, has all the speed, power and athleticism in the world but I would NEVER bother watching him fight DJ for a 3rd time...So what will happen ? Still you can't deny him the title shot since he beats everyone else...So we'll have DJ vs Benevidez 4, 5 DJ vs Dodson 3, 4 and 5?
Gee...

think of it....as a halftime show.

they're all more "physically imposing at 135" anyway.

You are clearly unfamiliar with the division. DJ has Cejudo and the TUF winner next, then Scoggins, Nguyen, or Smolka afterwards. Yes Benavidez may potentially challenge DJ again because he's very talented, not that big of a deal.

At least the division isn't full of immediate rematches like elsewhere.

Don't forget Frodo and Bilbo.

Groundbreaking opinions. Come up with that yourself?

I prefer to watch them fight girls of the same weight class......boys vs girls.......

I've seen Cejudo as well, and I just can't see him beating DJ at all...I mean DJ is the real deal, he has all the speed in the world, he can punch, he strikes well, he has ridiculous wrestling and very good grappling...
He showed he could take Dodson's punch and quickly recover and come back, he showed he could negate Horiguchi's elusive striking style, I don't see anyone subbing him either, and he has cardio for days...
Ultimatly we will just see Dodson getting rematches and losing them every time...

Its a stackeddddddd division with killers in it

I mean, you could try telling a boxing fan the likes of Armstrong, Pep, Saddler, Gomez, Sanchez, Arguello, Nelson, Morales, Hamed, Barrera, Pacquiao, Marquez, and so on were pointless, but then you'd get laughed at. It always feels shitty getting laughed at by someone who knows more than you do. So, basically, I'm saying stop fucking making statements about any kind of fighting for the time being, and you won't feel shitty.

I think Benavidez deserves another shot at this point. He took MM to an extremely close split in their first fight before nbeing stopped early in the rematch. I still think there's potential for a competitive rivalry between the two of them.

And I agree...So eventually we always get to see Benavidez and Dodson take on DJ and lose...

Yeah, except those guys weren"t flyweights but a few in their early career, and boxing has always had a pretty big roster in the smaller divisions with all those latino fighters...
And yet even in boxing flyweights never had that many very good fighters...Carbajal, Arce, Darchinyan were really really good but there weren't that many...
Yes it feels shitty to have someone who knows better laughing at you, but you clearly aren't one that does, so I'd suggest you refrain from trying to be a smartass.
