Flytrap plants - intelligent or scripted?

I was wondering whether this is something worth attention. I was thinking to get some to my room as it looks quite cool and freaking dangerous at same time (like from Super Mario Bros)

Is this thing close the mouth upon the touch, or it actually "feels" the pray?

The fact that plant actually reacts in that way is quite impressive.

I'm pretty sure this thread was always about hallucinations. I am on drugs though.

My favorite was one time I thought 20-30 people were cursing and screaming at me. I couldn't figure out exactly what they were saying and why but it was like they were ready to attack. My friend walked over put his hand on my shoulder and said "dude, golfball". I looked down at a golfball by my foot, looked back at the crowd and realized it was the group of people I was hanging out with all saying in unison "GOLFBALL" for about the 40th time.

Before he touched my shoulder I was literally seeing strange, angry faces cursing and screaming. After it was 20-30 dumbfounded friends wondering if I was a robot who broke.
