How does this fight go?

And yes both men are as is, i.e. on whatever they were on or not on at the time.

Floyd via KO. Round 1.

Neither via taking the fight too soon and not waiting for the 4.4 million PPV buy rate payday that only happened after years of anticipation and mainstream media coverage.

Neither what?

Floyd via teabagging once he finds his range. Can't believe we haven't discussed this before.

Manny would have beaten the piss out of him at that time, a fact that was not lost on Floyd, hence the extreme delay.

no version of Pacquiao ever beats Mayweather

Floyd probably wins by decision and I don't think it looks that different then the fight that actually took place in 2015

Pac clearly wasnt the same fighter 6 years later. Floyd still probably wins but that needs to be said on here. Enough with the pretending.

the same

one guy is a boxer

the other is a bar room brawler

Floyd via waiting till Pacquaio stops knocking people out & takes a couple losses before getting in the ring with him.

I'll go against the grain. In 2009, that fight could have gone either way.

Stylistically, it's not that different from 2015, Pac's skills may have been even less refined in 2009. But Pac was never going to outbox Mayweather. What he would have needed was the speed, power, output, chin, and killer instinct he had in 2009. I remember Pac had Floyd on the ropes a few times and he never bothered to go further than that, he teed off a bit then just reset. In my eyes, he would have been able to maintain the output he couldn't when he was older, which would allow him to outwork Mayweather to a decision.

That said, there is always the equal possiblity that Mayweather outboxes him

we'll never know

Fight would have been the same. Pac doesn't just magically solve that puzzle because he's a couple of years younger and Floyd doesn't for some reason get worse because the fight was earlier.

There's nothing Pac could have done differently. Its just the way the 2 fighters fight. Floyd was a bad fight for Pac.

Six isn't a couple. There's a reason Floyd didn't take the fight.

Ironfist is the legit answer in this thread, most others mere apostles.
