Did you watch the fight? Floyd measured how well McGregor is going to be. It took him 3 rounds to figure McGregor....add the factor the Money always starts slow. Floyd is probably the best boxer in history but add to his acumen that he takes everyone seriously and don't give him any slight advantage. He's in it to win, not to take risk. That's why he is 49-0. I wouldn't even add that Conor win to his record because that was pretty much irrelevant. Rnd 4 is when Floyd turned it on and walked down Conor. Floyd isn't the type of boxer who predicts what round he's going to KO anyone. He will break you down and if the KO comes, he will take it....but at the end of the day....he's in for the W...decision or KO.

Mayweather rarely walks any fighter down. He had no respect for Conor's power. He let Conor punch himself out because he wanted to give the fans something, because they paid money to watch it. If mcgregor took on ggg or canelo (someone his own size) his head would've been knocked clean off in the first round.
