Floyd considering GGG bout?

Kind of a misleading article. It is entirely based on Abel Sanchez's wishful thinking.

Abel heard Mayweather say he could beat GGG in a few interviews, so Abel is saying Mayweather must want to come out of retirement to fight him.

Mayweather has actually talked about Danny Garcia more than GGG.

Not happening. If it did, he would have GGG looking like DLH did against Pac. Not a fight you want to see

High drama fight- Kenny Florian

Floyd' going to be fighting Broner at the end of the year.

Either him or Garcia if he fights again.

I think Garcia is plan B if Broner somehow loses this next fight of his. If he does win, though, I'm expecting him to call Floyd out for a fight instead of this constant bickering he (and to a lesser extent, Floyd) have been doing over the last few months. All of this bickering may have been bullshit anyways and could be just some made up back story shit to help promote a fight between them.

Sanchez and Golovkin just mention his name for the press. They won't fight.

I hope Floyd comes back and Gennady KO's him.

That's not true.. See Maidana vs. Mayweather and add more chin, power, and skill to Maidana... Mayweather would be on his bike depending almost entirely on his jab and movement

These big fish stories about Mayweather just don't hold water... He was a damn fine fighter.. but to suggest he would beat GGG like Pac beat DLH is ridiculous considering he couldnt even beat Berto, Maidana, Guerrero, etc.. like Pac beat DLH... is GGG worse than those guys?

I was talking about the weight cut he would make GGG make. He would be a corpse in the ring like Oscar was

Thats true.. I misunderstood.. I don't think GGG would cut below 155...

I don't believe GGG can cut below the 159 he usually weighs in at. Maybe 157 at the lowest.

No worries. I think Floyd would ask for 152 and you never know what GGG would try for that money.

Can't see it. If Golovkin is publicly stating that he won't do 155 for a fight with Canelo then I can't see 152. The difference in potential earnings for him in both fights wouldn't be much different.

Canelo can't promise him near the money Floyd can imo. GGG is the "new" guy who casuals can buy into beating Floyd.

It is a moot point anyways. Fight won't happen

Sure he can. Golovkin has a lot more bargaining power when it comes to Canelo than he would versus Floyd, and from the perspective of percentages, Golvkin will get a much bigger chunk of the pie against Canelo than he would against Floyd. A 40/60 split on the revenue for a PPV that does 1 million buys is the same as a 20/80 split on a PPV that does 2 million buys.

Cotto and Canelo both made more money fighting each other than they did fighting Floyd, because Floyd demands such a massive chunk of the pie. I think Canelo vs GGG would be a similar situation.

That's if Canelo and DLH play ball. With Floyd, even if he screws GGG on PPV sales here he may have a chance at a decent overseas percentage. His guarantee will be way higher and so would the gate percentage (unless GGG somehow decided to fight in Mexico).

You make valid points though. Never know. Another thing to take into conversation is it doesn't matter if GGG loses to Floyd. That loss doesn't count for a guy like GGG. Just like it didn't matter for Canelo
