Fiziev KO of the year

Tired of ppl counting TKO as a KO. Clear difference. Cody KO'd Raphael. Fiziev TKO'd Renato

KO of the year has to be a KO, not a TKO

You kidding ? His eyes rolled back into his skull, he was out on the way down. Ground woke him up but still a ko

Ref didn't call it until his legs were wrapping around for guard.
Fighters get rocked and come back sometimes believe it or not .

This takes so much more skill than spinning shit that lands by chance
Lol that's just idiocy. Go and throw a jumping back kick while another trained fighter has a hold of your leg and see how you look.

KO?

That was a bit of an early stoppage.

KO Means they're not getting up and they're out - Moicano was up and conscious (dazed but not out you know knocked OUT).

Ko of year ? That wasnt even a ko. An early stoppage even though a probable good one as he was going to get pounced on.

I feel bad for Moicano. He's a classy striker with one of the best jabs in MMA. He approached this all wrong though, thinking that he was on Fiziev's level. Seems like the MMA world in general lacks a healthy respect for Muay Thai.

You can (and must) stand with guys like Fiziev, but doing so requires an old school grappler's approach; be extremely conservative, take zero chances defensively and constantly hunt for takedowns. A la Khabib.

Almost no spining attack is landed by chance or taught to be thrown as such.

It's a low percentage technique, largely dependent on the opponent making a catastrophic blunder, is what he means, and he's absolutely right.

Thats not even true as much as I hate Jones he uses spining elbows with precision
and plenty of fighters use a high percentage spinning back kick to the body

Me too man. I like his style a lot. His performance vs Calvin Kattar a couple of years back was beautiful to behold and a materclass but damn he's had a rough stretch lately and goes mostly unnoticed unfortunately.
