Media First time i see George Saint Pierre vs Matt Serra 1. Damn, prime GSP was three time the size.

One of the best and worst moments for MMA. It was a great upset and fun to watch, but once GSP avenged his loss, he decided to play everything safe and became a coward who was afraid to look for a finish. Props to Serra for turning an awesome fighter into a point savant.
 
This fight is why i could never put GSP as no.1 overall GOAT. I know GSP has a top 3 all time resume and one of the greatest championship pedigrees ever, which is why i would never argue with anyone who does put him at no.1. But me myself, i could never put someone who tapped to strikes to a much smaller guy from a smaller weigh class over an undefeated legend killer like Jones.

Dont waste your time arguing with that dude, he is a shameless Pride never die loser who still thinks Pride was real despite the mountains of evidence proving it was one big Yakuza gambling den pro wrestling fight fixing shitshow that got investigated by the gov't and rightfully shut down due to being so illegally corrupt.
 
I remember that I was sick when this card happened and didn't even bother watching because I assumed the main event would be a guaranteed win for GSP.

Logging onto the MMA forums the next morning was a trip.

Barry Bonds never tested positive either.

The smart dopers are on designer gear. The testing only catches idiots who're dumb enough to use old school gear and produces a small number of false positives from various forms of contamination.

The latest doping ring in cycling was only broken up through snitching. They'd figured out how to beat WADA's biological passport.

That's not to say that I buy the eyball test because, as you've listed, there are plenty of cases where it didn't work. Just pointing out the reality that the testing is largely a figleaf and a fruitless endeavor.

GSP never popped for roids.. Silva lost to 2 cans in Pride.
 
And Anderson is begging for a fight with Conor. He would be 4x his size, LOL. Silva fought at LHW and Conor at FW. A jump of 4 weight divisions, LOL!

Serra is just a stocky dude. GSP is lankier.

It was a very raw version of GSP who was not knowing what he's doing.

You can see it when he's more bulked up.
