Media First time i see George Saint Pierre vs Matt Serra 1. Damn, prime GSP was three time the size.

He was a fucking world champion holy shit man.
Someone else tried to present the argument that Silva was further along in his career than GSP at the same point. Arguing that Silva defeating Hayato Sakurai at the same point as GSP’s loss to Hughes, was proof of that. Now everyone wants to backtrack and claim Silva didn’t hit his prime until his 30’s. Thus negating his losses in Japan during his prime. Goalposts....

GSP was in his prime, 3 time the size of Serra (in Conor measures of course).

Some easter eggs.

-GSP lay in the ground for 2:30 minutes after the TKO.
-Matt Hughes was happy and laughing.

GSP got utterly destroyed in his prime by prime Serra.

As much as i hate that this is pretty much the only argument there is against GSP being the GOAT. Im happy Serra got to be the champ and this is the biggest upset in UFC for sure.

I never understood why GSP didn't attempt a single takedown before getting rocked. He likely could have pounded Serra out in under 3 rounds with a better game plan.

I can't see there being a bigger upset in all of MMA. I actually can't even see it being possible statistically. The odds of there being a season called "The Comeback" where the winner gets a title shot is crazy and in this climate doesn't seem like it will ever happen again. Then you add the fact that Serra was a journeyman and fought other journeymen that he was slightly better than to win TUF then face one of the (future) greatest WW's of all time and KO him is insane. The rematch solidified how crazy it was that Serra won the first fight because in reality he didn't belong in there. Serra wasn't even a gatekeeper at best the stars aligned for him.
And Serra lost not Chris Lytle in my opinion and shouldn't of even had a shot.

Imagine betting a million bucks on GSP.

What about him running from the sport at 32?
Trying to argue with someone new after getting destroyed by me? lol you gonna make up some more stuff and change the subject a few times with this guy too? Make some more nonsensical posts I imagine?

I a
Was GSP known as the goat before losing to Serra?
I already went back and forth regarding that dummy with that comment 5 times... he can't explain it and i outed him on it.... he literally just resorted to changing the subject when asked.

Dude is a shit-tier level troll.

You present one picture. There are tons of pictures of GSP, emails, two documented occasions when he ran from strict testing, and he retired at 32 before strict testing was permanently implemented. Again, don't try to change the subject, troll. GSP never got caught. Leave it at that, it's all you can cling onto.

Theres tons of pictures from Silva too, on top of 2 failed drug tests.

The GSP emails in NOW WAY present any kind of proof or suspicions he was on peds.

The two documented occasions where he "ran from strict" testing have been debunked many times (yet you play the ostrich card every times)

He FOUGHT and WON the MW TITLE under USADA.

#Rent free, loser.

Was he a world champion?

Tell me when was Gsp's prime

He learned his most important lesson against Serra and actually never underestimated an opponent after that (and actually had training camps for every single opponents unlike against Serra).

So your argument is that GSP was in his prime at 26 while Silva wasn't yet in his prime at 29?

Just because GSP was good enough to beat the WW goat and become the UFC champ at a young age of 26 doesn't mean he was in his prime.

Gsp retired at 32 Silva lost at 38

6 years would imply Silvas prime started at 32...

32-6= 26

Incase you don't understand basic shit like the other guy

Why do you keep ignoring the fact GSP was the MW champ at 36? Isn't that the 3rd time someone mentionned it to you in this thread? Why do you chose to ignore that?

And how does it feel to get a monthly sherdog ban?

Oh and BTW Silva extended his prime by 10 years via PEDs abuse.

After reading this dummies' last comment right under yours, there is clearly no help for this guy... He has junebug level intelligence.

I had to put him on ignore. 100% of his posts I've read were garbage... never saw a post before today so I can just assume he pretty much doesn't have a single intelligent comment.

Why is that?
Fluke
noun
  1. an unlikely chance occurrence, especially a surprising piece of luck. Is there any reason to believe that Matt Serra could win against GSP if they fought another 999,998 times? It was a one in a million happening.
You may think Fluke means accident but it does not. Serra was trying to hit GSP and he did but he doesn't get that result ever again. It was a Fluke.

Maybe maybe not ... he never got a trilogy fight.

I wouldn"t bet on it going Serras way but i wouldn't be completely shocked either.

You can argued there is no chance but im sure you would have done the same argument for the first fight as well and look how that turned out.

Fights since 2013 going into their fight

Bisping: 9

GSP: 0

Gsp was the younger fighter with less damage taken.

Retirement GSP> Retirement Bisping

You know someone is the GOAT when he casually takes a 4 years break and then come back to win a title in a higher weight class.
