This meme is growing old as fuck. Active fighters should never be considered the GOAT, and frankly, his list of wins is pretty thin compared to that of GSP's. Add to this the fact that he looked like shit against Ovince Saint Preux and hasn't finished anyone who wasn't a middleweight since September 2011, and you realize that with Jones, we have an extremely talented fighter who may well go on to become the greatest WITH TIME, but thus far hasn't. The only reason people even say this is because right now Jones has an aura of invincibility which mostly stems from the weakness of the LHW division in and of itself.
Now if he moves up to heavyweight and still beats everyone there, then you have yourself an argument. But right now? You got to chill.
What you said is the exact reason people felt Fedor is the GOAT. Think about it, "aura of invincibility which mostly stems from the wekness of the LHW division". Exchange LHW and HW and it is the same fucking thing. JBJ is the GOAT because he has faced top competition, has not ducked anybody or organization, undefeated in 7 years (could very well be longer if he knew the fucking rules), looked unbeatable for most of his fights, etc.
