*edit 1 - the verse she tweeted was Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."

*edit 2 - I can also see in my mind's eye the many muslims sure to comment on her story with statements like: "Rima was never a real muslim," and "ex-muslim found to be a fraud!" Not to be a Negative Nancy and all but it seems to happen every time (see all the youtube disclaimer videos on anyone who claims to be an ex-muslim etc.).

If she wasn't honor killed back in 2010 for participating in the swimsuit portion of the competition, I think she's in the clear.

That's like saying christians who aren't like Westboro Baptists are only christians by name. Not all muslims are conservative religitards - most of them admittedly but not all of them. Don't do the extremists job for them by saying the sane ones aren't real muslims. Google Iran 1970s and you'll see plenty of girls dressed in skimpy clothing etc. They were muslims then like they are not but without the oppressive regime.

The Muslims who are tolerant of other religions are not faithfull follwing Islam . Liberal apologists, Muslim organizations and the media like to say that the extremists are not representative of Islam but the opposite is true. The extremists are the truest representative of Islam and the tolerant Muslims are not. It's not the Muslim people who are necessarily the problem , it is the religion.
