Marcos Galvao

Still one of the greatest robberies in MMA history. Although, karma struck in his next two fights.

It could be. Galvao is on a 2 or 3 fight winning streak since getting starched by Dantas..though i couldn't really remember the names of any of the guys he beat in that stretch. He did beat them soundly though.

I would lean towards a rematch with Dantas for his first defense. I've agreed with others about Silva. He oughta make weight. Galvao would be a good option though since he did get hosed and his a very underrated overall talent.

Unfortunately I'd be willing to bet they don't rematch so that they can protect Warren. Would love to see it run back.

warren just convincingly beat silva and dantas lmfao. how have they protected him?

Convincingly win over Dantas ? Nah...

Well Warren did beat him 3 rounds to 2. Dantas should've known Warren was coming to take him down and hold him down. For those that might say Big John should've taken a point away for kicking a grounded fighter he (Big John) could do the same for the multiple fence grabs by Dantas. This was a good win for Warren and Dantas really needs to work on his TDD.

I don't see how you could make the argument that Dantas won more than two rounds.

There were a lot of fouls in that fight as well. Either guy could have had a point deducted, lol.

Dantas knew wxactly Warren's gameplan. He intended to out move him on the ground, reversing him or catching him in a submission whilst doing so and out strike him on the feet. I think Warren suprised him on the feet with that very unassuming but dangerous knee he throws and this made Dantas hesitant.

Again. "The multiple fence grabs by Dantas" were not to counter balance or counter force a takedown and therefore as irrelevant as calling the kick "intentional". Watch every single cage grab back. Some are not even grabs. They are simple leaning against the cage and getting yelled at whilst doing so and again they are not countering any force/weight. The instinctual grabs also did nothing to thwart a takedown or shift in position/weight. Now the kick was also accidental so I agree that no point should be deducted but if it had been it would have been a little more excusable considering it was a hard shin kick to the head whilst the head had nowhere to go due to the canvas (which consists of wood on wood beams).

a rematch with Bibiano Fernandes would be gold, but it'll never happen

Warren vs. Richman could be good if Richman gets a few wins under his belt.

Wouldn't be suprised if it was a rematch first. That seems to be Bellator's default setting.
