In the early 2000s hair metal revivalist site 'Metal Sludge' did a giant poll with many elimination rounds (something you understand well ) to determine what the 'lamest power ballad of all time' was. The winner of that title...... 'Love of a Lifetime' by Firehouse.

I did notice one song in the early rounds received 0 votes, so I suppose by default it is the least lame power ballad of all time - '18 and Life' by Skid Row.

Great band. They got unfairly shit on after winning the American Music Award for best metal band over Alice in Chains. I just found out today that the singer, C.J Snare, died last week. RIP.
