Finals

Mine were last week during the first two days of finals, I was pretty beat up afterwards but that reflects on the poor work ethic I've applied this semester more than the exams themselves. Studying for the exams is a much worse than taking them.

Circuit Analysis B's final was brutal and Dynamics' final didn't represent a comprehensive examination of the course but the others weren't too bad.

Exactly this. Im fairly certain I failed my circuits class, and am gonna have to take it again. Pretty embarrassing, especially when I know if I worked harder I probably could have gotten an a. Ive got my E and M final tomorrow, I guess I should get off sherdog.

I certainly passed but I should of had an 'A' as well.

Get your ass off of shitdog and study.

Good luck.

I have calculus on Monday and then I'm done.

Glad I finished E&M early so I could focus solely on the mathematics.

Electromagnetic Fields? How was that? I've just had the basic introduction to them through physics class and it looked like it might be some pretty heavy stuff.

*Edit- Just googled it apparently that's the equivalent of what they Physics II (Electricity and Magnetism) over here. That was one of my favorite courses. Good luck on your calc.

I just took the intro E&M class. Pretty much it was properties of waves, Gauss's Law, a brief introduction to Maxwell's equations, basic circuits, and it touched on electromagnetic waves.

From what I've seen of the Upper Division E&M class, it looks vastly more in depth, considering it requires multivariable calculus. I'll be taking it in August. It's a 3 quarter series at the university i'll be taking it at.

The difficult part of E&M for me was trying to visualize the problems. It's not nearly as cut and dry as basic mechanics, in that it's more than simply drawing a free-body diagram of all the acting forces.

The best thing about finals is after its all over you get drunk and smoke a bowl.

First thing I did when I got home from my surprise final was load a bowl.
