Had been reluctant to watch it for a while cos I just didn't think there'd be any substance to it but I'm glad I finally watched it. Aside from the antics, twitter fingers and the constant lack of title defenses, what this guy has accomplished in a short period of time is nothing short of amazing. His complete belief in himself, drive and determination are things we all could learn from and apply in our own lives...on top of that he's a legit fighter/martial artist who just happens to talk a lot of shit too. Kudos and respect to the kid. Looking fwd to see what's next.

yeah it was a good watch, seeing him provide for his family after watching the start where he cant even afford to pay bills, or buy training gear is pretty cool. He always wanted to be in a position to do that, and through his hard work he finally achieved that

I didn't see it for the longest time too, but It was great.

A must see for MMA fans

He was so humble and cocky in the beginning before he went full Hollywood

It was a dope watch, what Conor accomplished in such a short amount of time is impressive af, much respect for him.

Yeah dude...The mind and speaking things into existence is a powerful thing. Just another example of what recognizing your talent coupled w hard work and dedication can bring. It def was an inspirational piece. It was great to see the love and loyalty to the people who've been there for him from the start...especially Dee.

yeah one of my favourite scenes is when he is driving home in the Range Rover saying he should probably save his money, but he enjoys spending it too much. Then when he gets there he shows Dee the car, then lets her know its for her...... thought that was pretty special, she was so surprised. Being able to do that for the ones you love must be fucking awesome

I don't dislike the guy, not really a fan either but it's like watching snatch in real life, like a long con. amazing he pulled it off.
wouldn't blame him if he doesn't wants to fight anymore lol why would he anyway unless it's for a fucking fortune

I thought it was a pretty good documentary. some of the more interesting parts I thought were how he was barely could even walk and needed help from his girlfriend from the weight cut prior to the mendes fight and also when he re-injures his knee prior to the mendes fight. I thought it was also pretty cool to see how much in awe he was and how starstruck he was with arnold lol

spell his name right or GTFO, acting like you respect him but can't get his simple ass first name right.....

I didn't even know it was made until last night. I watched about half. It's pretty poorly made, tbh. The editing is downright terrible. Great story though.

As an aspiring martial artist myself, Conor Is Inspiring In many ways. You can't help but take what he's doing both In the way he carries himself In and outside of the ring and learn a great deal from It. Antics aside, most fighters / martial artists feel the same way and respect him a great deal In that sense from what I've seen.

Not too surprising. That was easily like top 3 scariest weight cuts I've ever seen. He looked like skeletor.

All things considered that sort of makes his performance against Mendes quite impressive.

Short period of time?

He started fighting in 2008. He got a UFC title in 2015. 7 years.

Cain Velasquez won his in 4.
GSP did it in 4.
Fedor did it in 3.
Jon Jones did it in 3.

So, yeah.... I'm not sure what you're going on about.

Valasquez and Jones were wrestling in college, so in essence, they were training. McGregor made the jump straight to MMA training at the same age they were wrestling. I'm not sure about Fedor, but I'm guessing he was in the circus, or whatever Russians do.
