ive bin training for about a year and a half. i would've probly gotten my blue about 6 months ago but i got my elbow popped in a tourney which caused a bit of ligament damage,shit happens though.

It's true. I started with about 7 guys and only about 2 of them come regularly. The others I haven't seen at all in a while.

he gave me my blue on the recommendation of my teacher montise peterson.

ya i guess they did. as much as it hurt it was a good lesson. i tap early to armbars now.

the dropout rate is pretty high. i think its because people have high expectations and think that within a month theyll be killing every1 at the gym but it just doesnt work that way so they give up.

congrats, i'm hoping to earn mine before the fall. i think i'll be the first girl under my instructor to recieve a blue belt. it must be quite an honor to have a person that you look up to that much recognize all your skill and hard work.
