Man, this is the feel good thread of the summer.

Like I said before thank the heavens for bigwaverider being the shoop mod and him having such a creative mind!

The leader of the pack no doubt is @in the liver!! 145 votes and second place!! And he only competed in one round!! We will have to determine if he beat "Second Round @Ottawaguy" from the MS Paint V2 Contest. Brother ITL came in so cocky and saying he was gonna destroy everyone in the seconds round. Well guess what? He backed it up and did it!!



@Arqueto is amazing. Coming on so strong. I remember last Oct/Nov him PM'ing me asking me to put Khabib's hat on his dog. Brother didn't even know how to do that and now look what the heck he is doing!! Definitely a candidate for Shooper of the Year. As far as him "running the show".. hehehe... I got something to say about that.

Haha.. oh yeah.... it's that background tree just behind his left hand. I didn't put that together. What he's saying about Rejoicing your death is all Ebony Maw, straight out of the Infinity Wars movie, but with a tasty 239 twist. I loved that joke!

All of @Brother Oto's jokes were spot on. Fooking Masvidol stone... lol... <Lmaoo> Even fat Thor with the Fried chicken bucket got me... lol... I thought having his stomach sticking out under his shirt would've been a nice touch, but you still pulled the joke off with the chicken.

The Rabbit holding Winter Soldier's arm would've been fun. He said he was going to get it. Just some thingz that came to mind though. Oto had it packed with jokes all ready though. Well done! (It got one of my votes)

I thought of adding a belly to Thor but I was almost done by then.

@chill doggie , this one is just insane. Totally outside the box idea, funny, and insaaaane detail. You should be really proud of this one.

I actually didn't have a concrete idea I just start drawing and see where it takes me.

Yeah, I thought the same thing, same with chill doggie's beautiful submission (Seriously, the floating dead Askren alone is an A+ shoop in my book) and jei's from last round. I always think one of the keys in these contests is a simple, clean composition that reduces well (and never make such a shoop myself, lol). The ones that warrant closer inspection and a longer look never seem to do as well as they should.

Yeah, I drew jedi Diego too big and it took an already large painting into huge proportions lol. Once I had him in there it was hard to back down but I liked the direction it took me which was to include the octagon lights and the angels.

Brother Wild I really liked yours I thought it was done well but I didn't get the message behind it. I would like to hear more about your concept because it looked cool and deserved way more votes than you got.

If you saw any of Diego's pre-fight interviews... he said he was anti-aging & coming for the belt. He's in it to win it!!!! Me & the JBG's believed him!

Then in the fight, he just pooped out. I mean he was trying I suppose & much love to Chiesa for being able to neutralize Diego like that, but at the same time, Diego missed a step. he wasn't firing on all cylinderz.

Typically when we see a Diego fight... we see an animal that THROWZ TEH FOOK DOWN... for the whole fight. He will put himself into danger to give danger... & the JBG's look on very pleased.

in this fight, it's almost like he didn't want to get hit any more. he was getting beat by the grappling, but every time they separated, he jumped right back into the grappling. & he wasn't lighting the world on fire with his energy there either.

So the JBG's... expecting their earthbound icon to perform as historically expected were very confused & a little grumpy about it all. (this is how I felt too) So Diego goes into meditation... & his astral head is looking ashamed at the angry & frustrated JBG.

You can't just see a JBG in 3D.... you have to go into meditation to commune with them yeah?

I was hoping all this waz understood & didn't need to be spelled out... so I kept the JBG's dialog quick & to the point, but perhaps a more descriptive statement would've been in order.

so what MS Paint is apparently doing is when you reduce the width to 1 pixel is it obviously takes an average (mean) value for each pixel in that vertical line, by looking at all the pixels to the right and counting the R/G/B values (0 to 255 for each color, Red, GReen, Blue) for each horizontal line across the 1605 width and averaging those values, and so assigns this new color to that new pixel on the hard-left. this results in a 1-pixel wide vertical line with a smooth transition from yellow to red.
Hence it would seem you could do more complex color gradients by dividing up he square 1605-pixel block into different sections with different colors.

^ precisely. Well said. I have never tried a more complex gradient, but perhaps we can. Maybe you or others can experiment.
