Figuring out your boxing style?

Just wondering how long you experienced guys on here took to figure out what your style is in the ring. I'm 5'7 and I currently fight between 160-165lbs. I have quite a bit of muscle mass on me. I kinda resemble the likes of Tyron Woolley but just a tad bit smaller. When I spar I sometimes find myself confused as to how I should be approaching my opponent. For example should I put my hands up and come forward like Tyson , or take the more technical/methodical approach via Floyd Mayweather. I've only been boxing seriously for about 7 months and I have 2 fights under my belt so I'm still learning the basics. My only good attributes in boxing that I've become aware of only recently is that I have good punching power and my coach says I'm smart. Kinda lacking in the speed department though. Any advice???
